Victor Finkelstein has been practicing Missouri and Kansas personal injury and workers compensation litigation for over 23 years, most of which was spent representing the rights of injury victims.

Vic earned his B.S. in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. During his undergraduate studies he became interested in the legal field and so he went to law school and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law.  He is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in both Missouri and Kansas.  

Coming out of law school, Vic was one of the first participants in the Ross Roberts Inn of Court, a mentoring program for aspiring litigators.  He completed this program successfully, launching his career as a trial attorney.  He practiced with a couple of small plaintiff's personal injury firms in the Kansas City area, and briefly had his own solo practice, where he represented injury victims.  He has litigated workers compensation claims throughout Western Missouri and Eastern and Central Kansas, including appellate work in both states.  He also successfully handled personal injury claims in both states.  

For several years he worked for an insurance defense firm, representing workers compensation insurers and employers.  This proved an invaluable opportunity to understand the tactics employed by the insurers/employers to destroy and minimize workers compensation claims.   

Since returning to representing injured workers, he has used this knowledge to more effectively represent his clients, and negate their attempts to deny his clients the benefits to which they are entitled. He enjoys working with clients and advocating for their rights.  

Vic has lectured about Missouri and Kansas workers compensation law and practice at several continuing legal education seminars, and authored the materials used for the seminars.  

Vic has also litigated personal injury claims in Missouri and Kansas, including auto accidents, premises liability, dog bite injuries, toxic exposure, and medical negligence claims.

Vic enjoys reading, theatre and movies, watching Jayhawk basketball and KC Chiefs football, and spending time with his wife and two teenage children.
