22 Car Collision a Stern Reminder to Kansas and Missouri Drivers to Drive Carefully in Wet Weather Conditions

This past weekend in central Missouri, nine people suffered serious injury in a 22 car pile-up on I-70 near Columbia, Missouri.  The accident was caused when a car traveling west on the highway began to hydroplane on the wet road.  The car spun out of control and slammed into a guard rail.  It was hit by one car, which was hit by another, then another.  All in all nine people were seriously hurt in the multi-car collision.  Three of them remained hospitalzied over the weekend in serious condition.
