4 Year-Old Hit by Car in Merriam; Make Sure Your Kansas City Child Knows Proper Safety Rules Around Streets

Summer isn't over.  Not yet.  Which means there is plenty of good weather left for the kids to enjoy while playing outside.  But remember, Kansas City parents, just because your kids are playing within the safety of your own yard, doesn't mean they aren't prone to serious injury accidents.

An unfortunate case of this happened yesterday when a 4 year-old Merriam, Kansas boy was hit by a car when he chased his ball into the street.  The child was critically injured in the accident and hospitalized.  The boy is not in stable condition and is expected to survive.
