Be on Alert for Drunk Drivers in Kansas City; Drunk Driving Accident in Connecticut Sends Woman to Hospital with TBI

The two-vehicle accident was caused by a drunk driver and nearly claimed the life of the drunk driver's three year-old son.  The drunk driving accident happened a few days before Christmas on I-91 in Wallingford, CT when a 30 year-old man driving a dump truck made a careless lane and hit another car.  The driver of the dump truck was free of injury after the accident.  A 3 year-old boy riding in the dump truck also survived free of injury but was found soon after the crash wandering near highway traffic.  According to police, the boy was not buckled at the time of the crash.

 

The 61 year-old male driver of the other vehicle suffered a broken arm, while his wife was hospitalized with a serious and traumatic brain injury as a result of the crash.
