Chicago Babysitter Suspected of Fracturing the Skull of a Nine-Month Old Infant
In late January, a nine-month old girl was physically harmed by her babysitter. It has been reported that the young infant has suffered severe injuries consistent with child abuse. The infant's skull was fractured, and the young infant also experienced "blood on the brain." Still no word out on her current condition.At first, medical officials were not able to determine the cause of the trauma, but now medical findings are indicative of foul play. The babysitter was twenty-four year old Abagail Cihak. On Thursday February 11th, Cihak was formally charged with Aggravated Battery of a child. Currently, Calumet police officials and detectives are continuing to investigate.
