California Motorcycle Crash Kills Five; Kansas City Motorists Have Must Have Patience When Sharing the Road

A hit and run driver caused a fatal crash that claimed the lives of five motorcyclists in a tragic motorcycle-automobile crash in Ocotillo, California.  The accident, which happened on Route 98 in California was caused when the driver of a Honda attempted to pass a motorcycle club made up of around 20 bikes.  The highway is only two lanes so the Honda had to go into the westbound lanes to pass.  Another vehicle traveling westbound swerved to avoid collision with the Honda and instead lost control and hit a few of the motorcycles.  All told, five people were killed and six others were seriously injured.

 

The crazy thing is the driver of the Honda never stopped.
