California Sunday School Teacher Admits to Murdering Young Girl

Melissa Huckaby is a twenty-nine year old Sunday School Teacher who was charged with kidnapping, rape, and murder.  Who was her victim?  An eight-year old girl who also resided in her neighborhood.  The little girl's name was Sandra Cantu, and she her body was recovered only ten days after she went missing--shoved in a suitcase.  To learn more about this story, click here.

Another disturbing fact about this pedophile, is that she also has a daughter who is just five years old.  So why would this woman do this to a little neighborhood girl.  The answer is still unknown.  Huckaby's criminal record is relatively clean aside from two charges of arson in 2007 that were never pursued.  

At first, Huckaby denied kidnapping, raping, and murdering this little girl.  But as the investigation wore on, and more evidence was brought against Huckaby, she began to cave.  Just a few days ago, she accepted a plea bargain.  She is exchanging the death sentence for time in jail.
