Child Abuse Suspected in an Injury Case that Sent Two Kansas City Children to Hospital

But the reality that it is a problem that is far from going away and to make it worse, most victims of abuse are often afraid to speak up and sometimes don't know who to turn to.

 

The Kansas City Police were notified about a possible child abuse situation at a home in the 3900 block of Everett Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas.  When the police intervened at the home they decided instead take the children to the hospital.  The kids were taken to Children's Mercy Hospital.  The severity of injury suffered by the children, if any, is unknown.  So far, no arrests have been made.
