Construction Begins at I-70, I-435 Interchange in Kansas City, Missouri. Less congestion, fewer personal injuries for KC drivers

Kansas City drivers who have ever driven through the I-70, I-435 interchange have probably experienced significant delays or witnessed accidents.  This interchange serves over 200,000 per day and is one of the most congested and accident-prone sites in the Kansas City metro area.

On Tuesday, a groundbreaking ceremony was held to begin the construction that will alleviate the congestion to this area.  The work is to be completed by the end of 2011.
