Don't Drink and Drive on New Year's Eve; Get a Ride Home in Kansas City

New Year's Eve is here and the clock is ticking on 2010.  Before you know it, the new year will be here and we hope you are here to enjoy it.  We take pride in protecting our clients in Kansas and Missouri and want to urge everyone to make sure they have a safe way to get around on New Year's Eve.

 

The Power and Light District and the transportation service KC Strip will be offering free rides on the trolley as a special thanks to Kansas City.  The scheduled stops include the P&L District, 18th and Vine, Westport, the Country Club Plaza, Brookside and Waldo.  If you're having a problem finding that ride home, you can always call a taxi or give a responsible friend or family member a heads up that you might be calling for a lift if you've had too much to drink.  Many taxi companies will also be offering free rides home from downtown and Westport, etc. as well as around Kansas City.
