Kansas City, KS Driver Crashes Into Semi Tractor-Trailer Truck in Crossover Accident

A driver lost control of his vehicle while traveling in Kansas City, KS Thursday night around 11:30 p.m.  Emergency crews responding to the auto accident on 12th Street near the James Street viaduct found the car wedged into a semi.  The driver of the car had to be extracted from his vehicle by firefighters at the scene.  The driver was transported to the hospital in critical condition. 

Authorities stated that it appears the driver lost control of his vehicle, crossed over and struck the front of a UPS semi tractor-trailer truck.
