Equipment Problems Can Cause Fatal Accidents for Kansas City Workers

Do you have a plan in place if you or a loved one is seriously injured or worse-- killed in a work related injury.  Sadly most families probably don't.  Maybe you don't work at a job where a serious injury accident is likely but remember-- slip and fall accidents are the number one cause of work related injury accidents and fatalities-- and they can happen at any job.

But some jobs are more dangerous than others.  Any job working with heavy machinery is going to present a consideralbe amount of danger.  A 24-year-old worker was killed in a sand blasting accident at the YESCO electric sign shop on Bozeman Avenue. The worker was reportedly hit in the head when the lid to the sandblaster's tank became dislodged while he was using the machinery. Reports indicate the sandblaster was reportedly rented equipment.  The work injury victim was taken to the hospital for treatment for his injuries.  Unfortunately the man never regained consciousness following the accident and was pronounced dead about an hour after his arrival.

OSHA will investigate.

Our experienced Kansas City Work Related Injury Lawyers are 100% dedicated to protecting families who have been victims because a loved one has been injured on the job.
