Fatal Bus Crash in St. Louis Highlights the Dangers of Semi-Trucks on Kansas and Missouri Highways

Sending your child off to Six Flags for a summer field trip can be a stressful time for a parent.  You want them to experience the independence yet know that leaving your child's safety in the hands of another person isn't always that easy.  School buses aren't known for being the safest vehicles on the road.  So when you get a school bus and a semi-truck together in a crash, the results can be devastating.

 

Today an accident in eastern Missouri proved just that.  Two school buses transporting  high school  kids to Six Flags in St. Louis were involved in a fiery crash with a semi-trailer truck about ten miles from the amusement park.  Two people were killed and dozens more suffered serious injury in the bus and truck accident.  So far there is no explanation as to what caused the crash.
