Fatal Collision in SE Kansas Between Two-Semi Trucks Under Investigation

At Roswold Law Group, we know how dangerous semi-trucks can be if truck drivers are not driving safely or even if they're not getting enough sleep.  In fact, just yesterday, we blogged about a semi-truck collision in Great Falls, MT.  Now a fatal accident that hits a little closer to home.  Two men were killed and another man has been hospitalized with serious injury following a collision between two semi-trucks near Bloom, Kansas.

 

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the accident was caused when one truck went over the center line and collided with another semi-truck, triggering an explosion.  Two men in the first truck, reportedly a father and son from Las Vegas, NV., were killed in the crash.  KHP said the father was driving the big rig at the time of the accident.  The other driver, identified as a 32 year-old man from California, was taken to a hospital for treatment.
