Fatal Pedestrian Accident Shows Why it's Important for Pedestrians and Motorists to Watch Out for Each Other

Kansas City, Missouri was the site of a fatal pedestrian-auto accident on Monday.  A 53 year-old man was struck by a car while attempting to cross I-29 highway near Barry Road.  The victim suffered a catastrophic serious injury and was taken to a hospital where he later died.  Kansas City police have said the driver of the vehicle is not expected to be charged with anything criminal.
