Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in Kansas City More Common-- Be Safe and Alert

Last week, a woman was killed and another person was hospitalized with a severe injury after being hit by a taxi cab in southwest Missouri last week.  Police say the fatal pedestrian accident happened when a 44 year old man and a 50 year old woman were trying to catch a cab and ran out in front of the vehicle. The taxi driver tried to stop but hit the pedestrians, killing the woman.
