FDA Rolaids Recall Affects Kansas City; Foreign Objects Found in Product

Do you use Rolaids antacids?  Listen up because news of the latest dangerous product re-call is for you. 

The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and the McNeil Consumer Healthcare have issued a product recall on Rolaids antacid products because the tablets may contain a foreign substance including possible metal and wood products.  This is a voluntary recall.  So far there are no reported cases of serious injury due to the dangerous product.

 

If you have recently purchased a Rolaids product recently, check the label because the following ROLAIDS products have been recalled: Rolaids Extra Strength Softchews, Rolaids Extra Strength plus Gas Softchews and Rolaids Multi-Symptom plus Anti-Gas Softchews.
