The product recall was issued by the CPSC on June 14, 2011 after it was dicovered that an electrical component in the heating system can fail, creating a potentially dangerous fire hazard.

The following models and serials are included in this recall:

• Model Number (Begins with): AZ41, AZ61
• Serial Number (Begins with): AT, DT, FT, GT, HT, LT, MT, RT, ST, TT, VT and ZT; AV, DV and FV.
  

Consumers are advised to contact General Electric to schedule a free repair.
