Four Killed In Tragic Dodge City, KS accident; Three More Suffer Serious Injury

The holiday weekend is going to begin on a tragic note for several Kansas families.  Four men were killed and another three were hospitalized with serious injury after a two vehicle collision outside of Dodge City, Kansas on Tuesday evening.  Police say one vehicle ran a stop sign and crashed into a SUV, killing all four passengers of the sports utililty vehicle.  The three passengers of the other vehicle all suffered serious injury and were taken to the hospital for treatment.  Members of the Kansas Highway Patrol on the scene said after extensive investigation that none of the passengers were wearing seat belts.

Wearing  seat belts is the number one way to prevent serious injury in case of an automobile accident in Kansas City.  Thousands of people die every year due to failure to wear a seat belt.  These are fatalities that thankfully can be prevented by simply buckling up.  It is the law.
