Holton, Kansas Collision an Example of the Dangers of Highway Driving; Avoid Distracted Driving

Two elderly motorists were seriously injured in a collision that happened out side of Banner Creek Animal Hospital along US-75 Highway on Wednesday.  According to Kansas Highway Patrol, a pick-up truck was attempting to enter the highway via a driveway off the animal shelter parking lot when it collided with car traveling south on the highway.  Both drivers, a 76 year-old man and a 54 year-old woman, were both taken to a local hospital where they were each treated for a serious injury.
