Another day in Kansas City and another dangerous product recall to be concerned about. This time it's eggs. The
Wright Egg Company, which is based out of Iowa is recalling over 380 million eggs that were never supposed to be sold but for whatever reason, they hit shelves anyway. The recall is due to a salmonella contamination in the eggs.
The eggs in question are being sold under 13 different labels: Lucerne, Albertson's, Mountain Dairy, Ralph's, Boomsma, Sunshine, Hillandale, Trafficanda, Farm Fresh, Shoreland, Lund, Dutch Farms and Kemp. The bad news is you may have already purchased these eggs in Kansas and Missouri, but only if you buy your eggs at Walgreens Stores. HyVee, Price Chopper and Hen House have all said they do not carry these labels.
If you are concerned about your eggs, check the carton for a one of these plant stamps: p1026, p1413 and 1946. If your eggs have this stamp, you can either just throw them away or return them where you bought them for a full refund.
