I-35 and Broadway Might Be a Potential Danger Spot for Kansas City Drivers

Accidents can happen anytime and anywhere.  When they do, it's easy to shrug it off.  As the old saying goes, 'lightning doesn't strike the same place twice'.  However, when something seems to repeat itself, it means it could be a problem.  Take our library aritcle list of high volume crash sites in Missouri and Kansas, which we posted recently.

Are They The Most Dangerous Intersections or the Intersections with the Most Distracted Drivers?

Add another one to that list and this one comes with a slice of added danger to innocent employees of a local business.  This week a car trying to exit northbound I-35 on the Broadway ramp sailed off the highway and nearly crashed into a building.  The car landed on a fence and amazingly, the driver walked away, having avoided serious injury.  Unfortunately, this isn't an isolated incident.  In July, another vehicle actually hit the building after going airborne from the highway ramp and knocked a twenty foot hold in the side of the business.

What is Distracted Driving?

According to owner of the business, it is at least the fourth time in 15 years that someone has hit or nearly hit that same building after driving off the highway.  In our books, that marks the scene of a dangerous spot for an accident.  The real problem might not be the exit ramp itself but Kansas and Missouri drivers who aren't paying attention to the sharp curve of the exit and fail to slow down to accomodate.

At Roswold Law Group, we are always keeping our eyes out on high accident locations and trying to warn our readers.  Our Missouri and Kansas Auto Accident and Injury Attorneys hope all motorists planning on heading into downtown will use this as a stiff lesson to drive safe and smart when exiting this or any off ramp for that matter.

If you or someone close to you has suffered a serious injury in a car accident in Missouri or Kansas, you may be entitled to compensation for your losses, including medical bill, lost wages and even legal fees.  Contact the experienced Kansas City Personal Injury Lawyers of Roswold Law Group.  With over 15 years of experience in Auto Injury Accidents, we can help.  Call today and set up your free consultation.
