ICE COVERED ROADS IN THE KANSAS CITY METRO AREA LEAD TO NUMEROUS RUSH HOUR CRASHES

This morning, the Kansas City Star reported that icy, snow-packed road conditions led to multiple car accidents during rush hour. There was a multi-vehicle collision on S I-435 involving at least four cars. Other accidents were also reported on S I-35 at I-635, S I-35 past W 95th Street, W I-435 to US 69, N US 69 past I-435, and W I-70 past MO-7 involving lane closings and requiring traveling vehicles to stop.
