Kansas City DUI Checkpoints Net 28 Arrests for Drunk Driving

Drunk drivers beware!  Kansas City law enforcement officials held a DUI checkpoint over the weekend near the Charles B. Wheeler Municipal Airport.  The checkpoint, located at Missouri 169 Highway and Lou Holland Drive netted 28 drunk driving arrests as well as a handful of other types of violations.

Jackson and Wyandotte counties have both issued statements that further checkpoints will be held in coming weeks.  The specific dates, times and locations are being withheld from the public.
