Do you use Scope Mouthwash? Then the latest dangerous product re-call is for you.
The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a re-call for 35,000 one liter bottles of Scope Original Mint Mouthwash. The mouthwash contains levels of ethyl alcohol with can be lethal and cause serious injury or death to children if ingested. The re-call states that the mouthwash is safe for adults. The bottles do not have a lable stating the proper warning of danger. The re-call also says that some of these bottles may have a defective child resistant cap.
If you have purchased this product the USCPSC asks you keep it out of the reach of small children. If you would like yours replaced due to the defective child resistant cap, contact Proctor and Gamble for a replacement coupon.
Dangerous product re-calls are issued all the time and most of us probably don't notice. Since this is a common product we all use, follow the warnings of the USCPSC and protect your children. Product re-calls are issued for many reasons. In this case its because a normally harmless product can can cause
serious injury or even death to your child.
