Kansas City, Kansas Crash Should Have Drivers Alert in Construction Zones

Several people have suffered serious injury in a multi-car crash in a construction zone on I-70 near 110th street in Kansas City, Kansas. One of the injured was a Wyandotte County Sheriff's deputy who was transporting an inmate to the Kansas Department of Corrections.  The inmate was killed in the crash.  Several others have been injured but there is no initial indication of how many or how severe the injuries are. Police blamed inattentive driving for the accident.
