Kansas City Parents: Stress Pedestrian Safety for Your Child to Avoid Serious Injury Accidents

A parents worst fear was realized this week when a 12 year old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a car on Tuesday night while trying to cross the street.  The accident happened in the early evening hours at 34th and Warwick in Kansas City, Missouri.  Police say the boy ran out into the street from between two parked cars and was hit.  The boy was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
