Kansas City Police Officer Injured in Trucking Accident Caused by Ice and Snow

At Roswold Law Group, we want to remind all motorists in Kansas and Missouri, that now more than ever, safe and attentive driving techniques are more important than just about any time of year.  A serious injury accident can happen when snow and ice is on the road no matter how good of a driver you are.  One glance from the road can mean the difference between getting to your destination and ending up in the hospital or worse, dead.

Yesterday in Olathe, a tractor-trailer truck carrying mini-vans slammed into another roadside accident on I-35 near Loan Elm Road in Olathe, Kansas.  The trucking accident sent injured a Kansas City Police officer and sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries.

Our experienced Kansas and Missouri Trucking Injury Attorneys see far too many accidents like this every year.  Part of the problem is too many people think they won't be the ones to cause the accident and are constantly blaming other drivers and their lack of driving skill.  While its true that some are better than others at winter road condition driving, it just takes a patch of ice to send a car or truck spinning out of control.  Snow and ice can be very dangerous because it can cause unpredictable reactions in vehicles.  Be safe.  Drive slow and give yourself plenty of time to get where you are going.

If you or a loved one has suffered a serious injury in a trucking accident in Kansas or Missouri, you may be entitled to compensation for your losses.  Contact the Kansas City Personal Injury Lawyers.

With over 15 years of experience in Trucking Injury Accidents and Auto Injury cases, we may be able to assist you and your family through this difficult and often stressful time.  Call our office today to set up an appointment to discuss your personal injury claim.
