Where are the Top 20 Crash Sites in Kansas City?

Everyone loves a good list.  Well...not everybody.  The Kansas City, Missouri Police have come up with their own "Top" list but this is definately a list you don't want to be on:  the Top 20 Kansas City Crash Sites of 2010. 

Topping the list is N. Flintlock and 152 Highway with a total of 73 crashes in 2010.  The top 5 crash sites are as follows.  You can see the rest of the list at KCPD Chief James Corwin's blog:

1.  N. Flintlock and 152 Highway - 73 crashes
2.  E. Front Street and I-435 - 66 crashes
3.  N. Church Road and 152 Highway - 61 crashes
4.  E. 55th Street and Bruce R. Watkins Drive/71 Highway - 53 crashes
5.  NW Barry Road and I-29 - 53 crashes

The good news is the number one crash site in Kansas City for 2009, I-435 and I-70, didn't even make the top 20 list in 2010.  According to police officials, they believe the improvement is due to engineering changes and increased law enforcement, but want additional studies to confirm that observation.
