Man Hit by Car During Tuesday Morning Rush Hour in Lenexa Kansas

A man was struck by a car Tuesday morning around 7:00 a.m. at the ramp to northbout I-35 from westbound 87th Street Parkway in Lenexa, Kansas. The pedestrian was injured in the car crash and taken to an area hospital for treatment to his legs. The car's right front windshild was shattered in the accident.  Authorities were forced to temporarily close the ramp to I-35 while they investigated the accident scene.
