What is the most common workplace injury? Slips and falls. At a Missouri City Power Plant, just such a serious injury occurred for an Independence Power & Light employee, Randy Reynolds. Reynolds was attempting to perform a repair on equipment over 60 feet in the air. He was climbing stairs and heading through a doorway when his foot became stuck, injuring his leg. Fortunately for Reynolds, fire crews were called in to bring Reynolds down five flights of stairs in order to get him to a Liberty hospital for treatment.
