A motorcyclist was involved in a head on collision with a tractor trailer on Stadium Drive and Leeds Road in Kansas City on Tuesday around noon.  Police say the motorcyclist was speeding to pass another vehicle and lost control when he was unable to get out of the way of the oncoming tractor-trailer.  The man suffered serious injury in the head on collision and was taken to a local hospital where he is in critical condition.  The injuries are considered to be life threatening.
