Motorcyclist Seriously Injured Following Crash on Missouri 350 Higway

A Raytown man, James M. Surber, was seriously injured following a motorcycle accident Tuesday night.  Mr. Surber was heading westbound on Missouri 350 Highway when he overtook and crashed into a 2001 Hyundai.  Mr. Surber was thrown from his motorcycle and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.  The driver of the Hyundai was not injured.  The motorcycle was totaled in the accident and the Hyundai had extensive damages.  Charges are pending following an investigation.

As spring approaches, more motorcyclists will head out on Kansas City roadways.  At Roswold Law Group Kansas City Motorcycle Attorneys we encourage both motorcyclists and automobile drivers to drive defensively. Motorists should keep a watchful eye out for motorcycles, which can be more difficult to see than another car.
