New Entertainment District Trolley System Trial Run Takes Place Friday

Kansas City's newest transportation system is having a trial run on Friday, March 26th.  The Kansas City Strip, a trolley system that will service the city's entertainment districts, is a new service hoping to entice Kansas Citians to patronize the city's local entertainment areas.  The trolleys will run from 75th Street in Waldo, through Brookside, the Country Club Plaza, Westport, Martini Corner, the Power & Light District and the 18th & Vine Jazz District on Friday and Saturday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.  An evening pass will cost $15 per person and there are unlimited monthly passes available for $35 per person.
