NY Construction Worker Killed; Is Your Kansas City Construction Job Safe?

In Queens, NY a worker was killed and three others were seriously injured at a construction site accident near Grand Avenue in New York on Monday.  According to reports, the construction accident happened when the workers were standing on a scaffolding pouring cement onto a 20 ft. cinder block wall, when it collapsed on the workers.

A 27 year-old worker suffered a cardiac arrest during the collapse of the wall and was pronounced dead at a hospital.  Three other workers suffered serious injuries and were also hospitalized, although they are now listed in stable condition.
