Late night and early morning accidents like this one are usually caused by speeding and inattentive driving. No matter what time of day you are driving it is important to obey the rules of the road even if you think you are the only one out and about. Maintain proper speeds and keep your eyes on the road. Most of all, avoid any distractions such as looking for CDs or messing with your cell phone. And if you've had too much to drink call a cab or a friend or family member. No matter what time of day, its better to be late than not make it at all.
