Overland Park Woman Seriously Injured in Miami County Car Accident

An Overland Park, KS. woman is in the hospital after being involved in a single vehicle car accident yesterday in Miami County.  The accident happened on Monday afternoon around 4:00 p.m. when the woman's car lost control and drove off an embankment at 247th street.

Police have confirmed the victim is the Shawnee Mission West teacher who yesterday became the focus of an investigation alleging she is engaged in an improper relationship with a student.
