At Roswold Law Group, we see
work related accidents nearly every day and know they can take many forms. From general slip and fall accidents around the office to chemical plant explosions, every work environment presents its own form of danger.
A recent
accident on the set of Paramount Pictures' film, Transformers 3 showed that the movie business is as dangerous as it is glamorous. A woman, serving as an extra in the film, suffered a severe head injury during accident while filming a stunt with several vehicles being used in the film. The woman, 24 year-old Gabrila V. Cedillio of Chicago, was driving her own vehicle, following a tow truck pulling a stunt vehilce being used for the scene, when the car became detached from the tow, causing a cable and mount to smash through Cedillio's windshield and strike her in the head. She was taken to a hospital with a severe head injury.
