Pedestrian Hit by Car after Getting off Bus in Kansas City, Suffers Serious Injuries

A man was critically injured in a pedestrian accident at 60th and Swope Parkway in Kansas City, Missouri. The acciedent was caused when the man stepped of a public transportation bus and was struck by a car.  The man suffered a severe injury that at one point was considered to be life threatening. He was taken to a local hospital where he was at last check, listed in critical condition.
