Possible Distracted Driver Causes Crash in Missouri
A driver that is distracted causes crashes all the time. Recently, a multi-vehicle car crash occurred on the exit ramp of Interstate 270 to Highway 40 recently. The chain reaction accident happened when one car, a 2007 Ford F450, did not stop in time and crashed into the back of a stopped line of five cars. This driver was mostly likely distracted.
The multi-car crash closed the highway in which six vehicles were involved. A total of four people were sent to area hospitals, one with critical injuries.
The crash backed up traffic during rush hour for hours.
West County EMS and Fire Protection District fire and rescue crews were called to the scene.
