Reports Show Missouri Trucking Crash and Fatality Numbers Down 50% since 2005

This week (Sept. 19-25) marks the celebration of the annual National Truck Driver Appreciation week.  To honor our local truck driver,s Roswold Law Group would like to take a moment to point out that the efforts of the hard working men and women to make up the trucking industry are beginning to help make our roads safer.

 

New information confirms the decrease in Missouri Trucking Accidents and Fatalities.  In a recent report, the numbers indicate that the total number of big rig trucking accidents in Missouri has gone down nearly 49% since 2005, from 173 to 88.  To go along with that stat, the number of fatalities from those crashes has likewise gone down from 20 deaths in 2005 to 3 deaths in 2009.
