Seat Belts a Factor in Tragic Crash Kills One, Injures Ten Others in Kansas

At Kansas City Accident Injury Attorneys we have been noticing the number of recent accidents in which people are failiing to wear seat belts.  This one is a little mind boggling.  Last week, one person was killed and ten others suffered serious injuries in tragic auto accident over Memorial Day weekend, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. The auto injury accident occurred late Sunday night on Interstate 70 about 13 miles northeast of Ellsworth, Kansas.

KHP says there were twelve people were in the car when it lost control and the rolled into the center median and that none of the vctims were wearling seat belts and were thrown from the vehicle.  As a result, a 17 year-old passenger died in the accident and ten others were hospitalized at three different loctions from Salina to Ellsworth to Wichita.
