Semi Accident Along I-70 and I-435 Causes Kansas City Traffic Delays

A trucking accident involving a single semi tied up traffic Monday morning when the driver, who was heading from westbound I-70 to southbound I-435, flipped his rig on the ramp to I-435.  The accident caused the semi to lose its load, as well as caused a significant fuel spill that required the fire department's hazardous crew unit to attend to the scene. 

Fortunately, the driver was uninjured in the accident and no other vehicles appear to be involved.  Crews were expected to have the scene cleared by 11:45 a.m.
