Semi Truck Accident in Springfield Leaves One Man Dead, Twin Brother Critically Injured

Twin brothers Edwin and Edward Kropf were involved in an accident at the busy intersection of Division Street and Kansas Expressway/Route 13 in Springfield, Missouri.  The accident occurred when Edwin Kropf, 42, ran a red light and headed directly in the path of the oncoming tractor trailer operated by Christopher M. Doyle.  Mr. Doyle tried to avoid the crash, but did not have enough space or time to manuever out of the way. 

The passenger of the Dodge pickup truck, Edward Kropf was killed at the scene, while his twin brother, Edwin, was critically injured.  Neither of the Kropf brothers were wearing their seat belts.
