Semi-Truck Loses Control on Kansas City Highway; Several Serious Injuries Reported

Highway on ramps and exit ramps can be tricky and they're not all the same.  The slope, the angle can all vary from ramp to ramp.  The important thing to keep in mind is the speed limit of the ramp as well as they size of the vehicle you are driving.  A compact car is going to be able to navigate a tigher turn than a truck.  A semi-truck obviously is going to have be a little mroe careful.An overturned ractor trailer accident was the cause of multiple injuries as well as a serious back up on a Kansas City Highway last Friday.

According to Kansas City Police, the semi flipped on its side as it was entering I-70 from the Manchester Trafficway on-ramp.  The ramp was blocked off to traffic as Kansas City Police investigated the cause of the trucking accident.  Several people, including the driver of the big rig truck were hospitalized with serious injury. Their injuries are considered to be non-life threatening.
