As the summer comes to a close we continue to see unnecessary injury accidents in Kansas City involving motorcycles and bicycles. Another one happened on Tuesday and this one involved both a motorcycle and a bicycle.
In Overland Park, Kansas, two people suffered serious injury after being involved in a
motorcycle-bicycle collision at the corner of College Boulevard and Westgate Street. The accident happened right in front of Johnson County Community College. It was not revealed what caused the accident or who was at fault. Both riders were hospitalized with injuries that are not life-threatening.
As
Kansas and Missouri Motorcycle Injury Accident Lawyers, we hope all motorists and cyclists practice safe and attentive driving techniques to ensure the roads are safe for everyone, including pedestrians. Distracted Driving is the cause of nearly all accidents in our city and that means only one thing: they can be prevented. Putting away your cell phone, leaving the stereo alone and minimizing conversation can go a long way in preventing serious injury accidents.
