Topeka Crash Kills One, Injures Three Others

An automobile accident in Topeka, Kansas tragically killed one person and seriously injures three other people  on Tuesday.  The accident occurred along K-4 highway and apparantly was caused when a Chevrolet heading southbound veered into oncoming traffic.  The driver over-corrected and ended up hitting a white Ford pickup truck that was heading northbound on K-4. 

Three people inside the Chevrolet were rushed to area hospitals by ambulance for treatment of serious injuries.  Sadly, a fouth person inside the vehicle died from their injuries before they could be removed from the wreckage.  The driver of the pickup truck was unharmed in the accident.
 
The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, but at this time does not have information as to what caused the driver to veer into oncoming traffic.
