Topeka Woman Extricated From Car After Collision With SUV

Three people and two were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after an auto injury accident in Topeka KS. on Tuesday morning.  The accident happened at the intersection of 12th and Mulvane, a residential neighborhood in Topeka around 8:30 a.m. when a car and an SUV collided.  The cause or the fault of the accident was not immediately known.  An elderly woman riding as a passenger in the car involved was trapped in the vehicled when the door was crushed shut.  Topeka fire fighters used hydraulic equipment to extricate her.  The driver of the SUV suffered a minor head injury and was also sent to the hospital.
