TOYOTA COROLLA POWER STEERING
I feel like a broken record! Once again there are news stories about problem Toyotas, this time involving the 2009-2010 Toyota Corolla.It appears that the U.S. Department of Transportation will be opening an investigation into complaints over potential problems with the car’s power steering. Toyota itself has announced that it is considering a Corolla recall following numerous complaints of problems with the power steering system.
Driver complaints state that they have felt they were losing control over the steering, particularly at highway speeds. Thankfully, there are no reported accidents as of yet involving this reported problem.
The Corolla is the world’s top selling vehicle and Toyota sold approximately 300,000 in the United States last year.
All of this again is a reminder to Toyota owners to keep up on the recall situation and get any recalled vehicle into their dealer as soon as possible.
