Trucking Accident in Lee's Summit, MO. Kills One; Several Others Injured; Kansas City Motorists Beware the Dangers of Distracted Driving

One person was killed and several others were injured in a crossover accident on 50 Highway in Lee's Summit, MO. last week.  According to police the accident was caused when a Jeep Cherokee lost control and went into the eastbound lanes of the highway colliding with a semi-truck.  There were several injuries reported from the scene that involved at least one other vehicle and created a huge traffic mess.

 

We'd like to express our deepest sympathies to the friends and family of the victim who died in this tragic accident and wish a full recovery to those who were lucky enough to survive it.
